Design and Compatibility
The SHAPE Kirk Neff Offset Rig is built around the DSLR Kirk Neff Baseplate 2.0 and designed to fit DSLRs and compact cameras, providing an offset configuration to align the camera's LCD screen with the user's eyes.
Components and Adjustability
The rig includes a rod offset bracket, 10 inch and 12 inch 15 mm rods, a mini composite shoulder pad, back pad, dual handgrips with push-button adjustment, and clamps for 15 mm rod pairs allowing for customizable setup.
Mounting and Support
The camera attaches to the baseplate via a V-Lock quick-release plate compatible with third-party support systems, and the rig can be adapted for tripod use by removing the shoulder pad and handgrips.
