Design and Build

The SHAPE Heavy-Duty Boom is engineered for professional rigging in film, TV, and photography environments. It is made from premium black chrome stainless steel and reinforced steel tubing, providing exceptional strength and rigidity under load, suitable for demanding production setups.

Dimensions and Payload

This two-section boom extends from 68 inches (172.7 cm) up to 120 inches (304.8 cm). It supports a maximum payload of 33 lbs (15 kg) at the minimum length, and 22 lbs (10 kg) at maximum extension when balanced with proper counterweights.

Adjustment and Stability Features

The boom utilizes unique aluminum collar locks for secure adjustments and captive knobs to prevent loss of parts. Its center spring-loaded ratchet wheel reduces effort during tightening and includes an anti-tilt design that maintains stability even without sandbags.
