Camera Cage for Sony FX2

The cage, constructed from CNC-machined aluminum, provides secure mounting of the Sony FX2 camera using a 1/4-20 screw and offers multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with ARRI-style anti-twist locating patterns for accessories. It features a NATO rail on the side for tool-free accessory attachment, a cold shoe receiver on top for microphones or lights, and an integrated HDMI lock system to prevent cable disconnection. The base includes an ARCA Swiss quick-release plate that allows quick transitions between gimbal, tripod, and handheld setups, maintaining full access to all essential camera functions.

Ultra-Lightweight Baseplate with 15mm LWS Support

The SHAPE baseplate is designed around the 15mm Lightweight Support system, enabling precise and stable mounting of follow focuses, matte boxes, and lens supports. It includes a universal ARCA Swiss-compatible mounting system with an optical center locking pin to maintain exact optical axis alignment and a rear locking lever for secure attachment of the cage or camera body. Despite its robust design and functionality, the assembly remains ultra lightweight to minimize rig weight.

The shoulder mount system includes the camera cage, the 15mm LWS baseplate, a pair of 18-inch rods, a double quick handle rod block, a composite mini shoulder pad, and a back pad. These components combine to enhance handling, support, and versatility for professional and mobile shooting setups.
